Hi there! We love that color scheme for a kitchen! We can't wait to see pictures of the finished product!
Colors and designs are so personal, but the colors you are considering are very popular right now. My kitchen will be remodeled in a few months and I'm going with white cabinets, light gray counter tops and a gray/white glass tile backsplash. What I can't decide is what color to paint the very small amount of wall we have. I want it to disappear rather than stand out. My other decor will be cobalt blue and sunshine yellow. My appliances are all white, but with a very small kitchen it will keep it light and make it seem larger.
I like all white I do not think it will ever go out of style and with a big expense like re doing a kitchen I would want it to last a long time
Like Shirley said, colors are very personal. Also true that white unlikely to go out of style. My two cents: white cleans up well and makes things light and breezy, and you can use any accent colors you like with it!
All white kitchens are classic! I would opt for keeping all cabinets white and use gray for the island. Add galvanized and natural wood accesories and your kitchen will look so current right now. When you tire of the look painting just the island instead of all the cabinets would be a easy fix for big impact along with swapping out the accessories.
Great thoughts. Thank you, Heidi.
You can paint your kitchen white and put some color by decorating.
I was going to say what others have said. All white. You'll be surprised how it hides the dirt! I had an all white kitchen down to white corian counters once and I loved I could change the entire feel by simply changing decor.
I had a maple table in the kitchen nook and each chair was a different color . Dang. Just talking about it, makes me want to remodel and do it again...
These are all great thoughts. I appreciate them, and it seems that I need to stick with the original plan to do all white except for the island. Fun ideas! thanks :)
