If you haven't put in the dryer, try spraying with aerosol hair spray. Then wash spot with hands in cold water. Don't know if this will work but works on ink so it might.
I'm a big fan of the oxygen products to get out stains. Also if you hand has a termor, embrace it and find a nice abstract design the tremors will enhance.
The alcohol in hairspray works wonders.
Hi Shirley,
I don't know what it is that you got on the shirt, but I've always had great success getting stains out with white vinegar. Squirt it with white Vinegar, gently rub it with a soft toothbrush and let it sit for a few minutes for laundry soap on the stain and try to get it out that way. If not you could always add decorative buttons, a pocket, or possibly have a butterfly, flower or small object either painted or embroidered over the spot. That is what I did just recently with one of my favorite blouses. Hope this helps.
Warm wishes, Susie
Follow up! I decided I had nothing to lose, and I treated the spot with Oxiclean Gel Stick, and voila the spots are gone. So much for Rub-A-Dub markers being permanent!
