Paint or stain a plywood floor?

I have a plywood floor all the wood is not running in the same direction and it is pieced together. is there a way that I can paint it or stain it? Also how do I fill in the seams so it doesn't show

The seams are likely to show unless you're really good at using wood filler and they are laid down nicely. I think they can look great either way depending on what look you want. Paint is Always an option. Stain, you have to like the grain of the wood as well as the direction of the pieces
