they might make a pretty wind chime if you perhaps added some sea shells or silverware into the mix.
I would try and make 2 or 3 tier racks to hold small items. Also if you could find dome covers, would make great terrarium-type containers.
How about stringing them on a rope with knots on either side to separate them . Then weave an electrical lamp cord with light bulb sockets between the discs and
use some Edison/vintage style bulbs and hang it as a light fixture. Kinda nautical modern...
Using colored Sharpies, and suction cup hooks they'd make pretty sun catchers.
Glue on marble legs and use as candle holders with floral arrangement.
Find some small cloches and put flowers, mini arrangements, notes, treasured mementos, etc. under them on the plates. You'll never see the holes in them.
Make a tray. Make a frame, with bottom/backing. paint petals on them, place on tray, fill in around with wood mosaic/bright beads/stone/seeds, whatever to decorate. Use all or portion .
Or add an axel to pairs, connect with base and make them into a little wheeled something.
Or just use for coasters.
