Does she have a garage, attic or basement to store things? Is this a short term thing.....rent a storage unit. If a long term thing, maybe have a garage sale if you can't store it in her house (other than the one room)
Sort through your items and decide what you really do not want or need.Then either sell them or donate them.If there is strange in a room or garage or attic,buy plastic totes and able them.If not buy a portable rubbermaid shed which can be used at a later time.
Well you really can't. It you can make a nice living area by seperating living/relaxing area from sleeping area. You could put a small couch at bottom of bed facing it towards opposite wall that has a low dresser with your tv on top. You can also use open book shelves to divide area. You can put items facing both ways so each "room" has decorations.
