I love Home Depot's Behr exterior paint. It was that which has primer built in. I live in the Midwest where winter's can be frigid and summers hot. Five years ago, I painted my siding. The paint held up beautifully. I power washed the house first and let it dry thoroughly before I started. I rolled and brushed the paint on. I applied two coats allowing sufficient drying time in between coats. It's not cheap paint but in my experience, it works very well.
