Give the a light misting of bleach & water solution and put in the sun. You could try lemon juice also. If a fail, I would get some good percale pillow covers with zippers.
Try making a solution with a little hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Dab on to the pillows and allow to sit on long enough to remove the stains.I would not use bleach which is very known that actually makes stains worse.
Try Rit Color Remover. It will remove all color but I don't know about lipstick.
Stain Stick is good for oily stains. I can't find it in my grocery store anymore, but I found some on Amazon. You can treat the stains and let them sit for several days. The brand name is either Resolve or Spray & Wash. I probably used a stick a month when my son was little, but now one will last me for months.
