I just got rid of my large tree after last Christmas. My plan going forward is to get a small live tree in a pot and put it on a table with a very festive tablecloth and decorate that. Then either donate it to the Parks Dept. in my city or put it outside. I have also seen small metal trees that I could put a selection of my favorite ornaments on.
there are actually faux "half "trees. Depending on your budget. You place them up against a wall and they don't take up nearly as much room.
I use a small triangular metal tree that has hooks for hanging small ornaments. I have also seen people use washi tape in christmasy colors to create a tree shape on a wall. I always have a bit of real green just for the smell. Go to Pinterest for ideas.
Hi how about putting a smaller tree on a table that way you aren't using as much floor space but you can still decorate it and enjoy some of you favorite ornaments. Presents can always go on floor under the table. Hope that helps. Thanks
Assemble only front half of branches on artificial tree allowing it to be placed flat against the wall..
Thank you for the awesome ideas.
Hang a small tree from ceiling in corner of room.
How about an "ornament tree" - I picked up a couple off season dirt cheap at Pier One - mine were black wrought iron and I sprapy painted them an old gold and dribbled a bit of glitter on them, turned out great, or at least I think so. I put it in my front window on a small table with a bunch of pretty ornaments on it.
There are tall "pencil" trees that take up little space and would let you hang some of your favorite ornaments.🎄
I found a christmas tree that is only 1/2 of a tree! It lays flat against a wall, and takes up so much less space!! I found it at a garage sale, so I was fortunate.
There are artificial trees that aren't as full made for apartments. They are tall but not as wide and full and still look very nice.
I have seen artificial trees that are flat on one side to be placed up against a wall.
Several yrs. ago I purchased a 4 to 4-1/2 ft. tree at Home Depot for about $40.00 complete with lights and it takes nearly as many ornaments to trim it as a larger tree. I put the tree on a small oblong end table that is no longer used and place it right in front of one of my LR windows. It's cute, easy to handle, and does not require disassembly when the holiday is over. Of course I remove ornaments but merely cover it with a large trash bag and store it in the basement. No fuss, no muss, just cuteness!
