One popular way to make a "living wall" right now is to use a pallet. Simply nail a board to one end of the pallet to cover the opening. Then, staple heavy plastic to the back side of the pallet to prevent the soil from falling out. Then, lay your pallet on the ground, and fill it with planting soil. Be sure to pack it in tightly to prevent shifting when you stand the pallet upright. Then, plant your chosen plants in the spaces as you choose. When, finished, simply stand the pallet on its end and water as needed.
