Wet & Forget is an over the counter solution that might help. find it in hardware or box stores or on Amazon.
Heat up a gallon of white vinegar in a pot on the stove. Add 2 cups of Epsom salt and stir to dissolve the salt. Remove from the heat and add 2 Tbs of liquid dishwashing soap (Dawn) and stir well. Pour this mixture into a garden pump sprayer. Spray the entire area until wet, and let it dry. It will gradually lighten the surface over a couple of days. Make sure to use this when you are not expecting rain for a couple of days. Also, do not get the spray on plants because the salt will kill them.
Thanks, I have seen it advertised on tv, but don't know anyone who has actually used it. The reviews state that it can take several weeks to months to work and may require multiple applications. Have been reading the reviews and they seem to be mixed. Checked and I can get a gallon for about $23 at Home Depot, may have to invest a little money and see if it works. I will post follow up after I try it.
Thank you, living in Florida during the summer, this idea may have to wait until fall when our rain chances are low.
