I want to redo my bathroom. This old tub is certainly too heavy to attempt to lift out in one piece.
You can buy interior dog fencing with gates. They attach to the walls.
Hello Marilyn, Your job is not an easy one. I'm wondering what size dogs we are talking about. Probably different sizes. We used baby gates to keep our dog from going upstairs. If you have any big dogs, you can put one gate on top of another. This would be effective and inexpensive. Hope this helps.
If the dogs respect a barrier and don't climb, you can get some rather inexpensive netting for garden use. Attach it with cup hook types when it's 'keep out time', or go a step further and buy actual orange or green (yeah pretty ugly stuff) used by construction crews. Either allows for visibility if you need to see or be seen. Not total separation. If your pooch(es) are climbers, you may have a real problem. Mine is and would scale a baby gate like it was a challenge to be mastered.
As for the baby gates, I tried both kinds. An inexpensive pressure mount that I needed to climb across and a more expensive that opens and has a latch . Both were absolute pains in the rumpus.
I finally made the decision during meal time, it was out the back door or confined in a bathroom with her own familiar bedding. Though a much loved family member, she's a dog. She sheds and begs. Uncomfortable and even more so when company is around.
Thanks! I am going to try a couple of different things yours included. She is not a jumper or climber thank goodness! I am also looking for suggestions for anti anxiety pills for her. If I can't find any I may have to find some fir myself! 😂
Give the dog lots of exercise and perhaps some time at doggie daycare, dogs will pick up on their owners feelings, hence if you are feeling anxious and stress the dog will be also. Try a few drops of rescue remedy in the water or food. Acupuncture for humans and pets works very well. There lots of nice gates on the web or find an old garden gate have someone install. I am a pet sitter one of my clients found a vintage gate and installed it between the kitchen dining room
I bought a piece of plastic lattice and framing pieces for it. I think the lattice was 2' x 8'. Door opening is 6' so I cut a little off with hack saw. You can also use a tablesaw if you have a helper.
