Buttery cream or a light tan/grey both with satin finish.
I love the aqua colors, all shades!!
I believe in the lighter, the better, so I pick a color that I like, and lighten it up. Turquoise is a favorite also a teal blue. I pick the color and then cut the color with true white. An off white has yellow in it and can change the tint of the paint. You want to show off the food not the walls.
How many windows in the kitchen?
I have seen some new kitchens on posts lately. Robins egg blue seems to be very popular.
do ya all recal the blue plate specials??..blue is said to decrease the appetite. Not a bad thing..apparently red encourages the appetite. I would go with what you like....your favorite color. Or some version of it.
Hello Peggy; Please trust yourself. Go with your gut instincts, and decide what colors you Love and what makes you Happy!!!!
Visit stores like Home Depot, Ace Hardware and as for paint samples.
Also visit Craft stores and get Fabric samples. Take your time. Lay things out. Decide hat you like and go from there!!! Best of Luck!!!Take Care!!!
Take your fabrics to paint store & pair with color choices that match cabinets & counters.
I painted a 1950s green in my kitchen and a cream color for the trim.
It depends on the tone you want. If you want it pastel, then add about 3/4 of a gal. of white in a larger size bucket to your gal. of paint, and adjust it from there. I usually go with smaller amounts to see if the tone is right. Don't waste a whole gallon of paint on an experiment!
Mine are light green and my appliances are black . White cabinets make for a nice contrast .
I love light teal colors with white cabinets!
