Try about 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide in regular wash. Whites only. Works better than bleach. Otherwise use Rit Color Remover. Will remove all color.
Bleach
Get the color blocker sheets at the store. They work
thats when you washing something white with other things. Not after you've done it
If, you have washed this yet, since this accident, spray some cleaner on it, like a 409, or Fantastic, and let this soak over night, then do it again real thick. Then hand wash it, and let is dry. NOT machine dry, but hand dry. The machine dry will set the colors. If this helps but now all, then do it again. Best wishes, J.
Lynn, this is the lesson we learn by hurrying and washing the colors with whites. All of us have been there; done that, so don't feel bad at all, ok? J.
I'm a little late to the conversation but I think this might help. Rit Dye company used to make a "color remover" just for such accidents. You buy a box of the remover, toss it in with your newly pinked towels and when it's done going through the wash/rinse cycle it will have magically been returned to it's former white color. Hope this helps! Here's the link, https://www.onlinefabricstore.net/rit-color-remover-powder-.htm
bleach
Either bleach or Oxyclean.
