What about on the wall?
I prefer to look at large objects hung because they are so much easier to inspect. Because rugs are so heavy, I think a curtain rod made of galvanized pipe would be sturdy and cheap. Take a look at www.simplicityinthesouth.com...DIY Projects. Also, Google "How to make curtain rods out of PVC pipe."
Hi Connie, How about making a slat wall on wheels the size of your area rug. You can use it to create a vignette, or a divider and still use the other side to hand things! When your carpet sells, or you tire of it, you can reuse this for a display rack. You could make it out of pallets, which are free most of the time! Just a thought~
Good luck and have fun!
You could also build a stand to hold it and use it to divide areas of your shop. Good luck!
Hang it on the wall as you would a quilt
Use a quilt hanger or large rod to display on a wall.
Thank you all so much!
