Use Wet and Forget
Power wash it
Beautiful!!! I always left mine alone because it was so beautiful! It did get really slick though and I was always afraid of someone falling.
Because it is outside, the solution should be fairly organic to protect your plants and grass.
A vinegar baking soda paste could be used with a scrub brush and then a hot water rinse should do the trick. I would wait until the brick is warm so the hot water rinse doesn't create too much of a shock and crack the brick.
If you have a way to rinse the cleaner off without it going in your yard, I would spray it with Tilex and try to kill the algae altogether.
***These are just things I would try. I have not attempted either one. If a Hometalker with experience in this endeavor gives you advice, listen to them first! Hahaha!
😊
Have it power washed, should be about $50-60 for average size. Look in your phone book for a few, and measure ruffly the size of the patio Good Luck.
There is no need to use any kind of cleaner on it. Just have it power washed.
don't forget to seal the cleaned surface when done.
The best way, and it's a lot of fun, is to power wash it. You may have a neighbor or friend with one, or you can rent one. I love power washing. It's very therapeutic. :)
Clorox and water...... power wash or hose and outside broom
POwer wash it, use a bleach mixture.
I use my power washer on mine. Just be careful of the settings - the washer can cut through outdoor carpet is set to strong/direct. (just ask my helpful brother! - who tried to clean some door mats!)
