Buy vertical blinds, standard 6ft that are used for sliding glass doors. 1 per opening. now you can disassemble the blind & cut it to fit the opening and make it reset, so you do not have the dust collection and it gives a modern loook. The blinds can be custom made, but that is a pricey option. standard vertical blinds @ a dyi are about $30 each. I do this all the time, & it works well and the effect is great
How about tension rods (they make tiny ones), with sheers in each section?
I have a four pane bay window, but it doesn't go out far, maybe eight inches. I have a bamboo cane shade that goes all the way across the windows. This worked well for me.
Roman shades would look very nice. If you sew they are actually fun to make.
If this is something you might be interested in doing , I used the instructions from a book called "Singer Sewing for the Home". ISBN 0-86573-204-3. You do have to be exacting with the measurements, but the results are really lovely.
