I grew up in Florida, so I know what it's like to miss the change of seasons. If you're looking for the quintessential fall look but are just missing the bright leaves, you can still decorate with gourds, bales of straw, fodder shocks (dried corn stalks), and flowers like chrysanthemums and flowering kale. This blogger featured a "Southern Living" cover and several porch displays, all of which include florals that would work in a tropical climate: http://wearinglipstick.blogspot.com/2012/10/front-door-beauty.html
buy garlands of silk leaves on a vine or bags of silk fall leaves and glue them on whatever you want to decorate. do you have craft stores in your area that carry this stuff? If not, buy them on line

Thanks for all the ideas.
Try buying fall colored leaves and bunch them together and tack them going down the porch stairs so they don't blow away and they make them to go around the door frame, add them in lanterns. Take farmers basket add a brick inside along with rolled newspaper placed high then glue fall lave to the top to make it appear as a basket of raked leaves. Here are a few ideas from a up-north fall look.🍁🍂
