Take a paper towel, iron it over candle stain. It will absorb into the towel. Don't know about the paint??? Good Luck!
Ice cube for the candle wax, then scrape. If the paint is fairly fresh, you might be able to remove it with a scrubby sponge and Dawn. Don't get too overzealous! Most paint is water soluble these days. If the paint is old, you may have to carefully cut off the tips. There probably is some sort of commercially available solution. I've never used any, so I can't recommend.
Dried paint removal will depend on the type of paint and the length of time it has been on the carpet. Either way it will take a lot of elbow grease to remove. I concur with the iron/paper towel method for removal of candle wax.
The iron and paper works great for wax!
For paint, if it's only on the surface; trim it off.
If it's soaked in, you can try a wire brush to loosen as much as possible and vacuum up. Then use paint remover on a cloth and dab away at it until the paint is removed.
*You do not want to soak the carpet by pouring paint remover on it because it can damage the floor underneath, damage the carpet backing and glue, and soak the paint clear through all the carpet fibers.
I hope that helps

Not certain but maybe applying Ice-Pack/ ICING the spot so you can Crack it away ?
Hair Dryer & Scrap rags ?
To remove candle wax on carpet put a sheet of wax paper overnight it and then iron it.
Acrylic paint will sometimes come out with plain water and elbow grease.
Put a brown paper bag over the wax. Then go over it with a steam iron. Go back and forth several times.
Dry paint: If Alkyd (oil base) need to use varnish remover. If latex/acrylic (water base) Denatured Accohol (found at any paint/hardware/box store) is isopropyl alcohol (stronger version of rubbing alcohol) or just use rubbing alcohol.
Candle wax: chill it & scrape & vac the best you can. The remainder: lay cotton cloth over the area & iron with as hot an iron as is safe for the cloth &/or the carpet fiber.
You could call a carpet cleaner & most will make recommendations for a small spot job.
