need more info. what kink of tile? whats behind the tile? (plaster and lath boards, or drywall). in any case, try this. use a rubber hammer and tap on the tile see if it will loosen the tile. tap not pound, If it`s that plastic tile it is most likely glued on the wall. maybe a putty knife and pry them off in any case your going to deal with whats under the tile . it`s not pretty ! maybe some one else has a better idea . good luck with with your DIY. you need to be careful when doing this as shards can fly
You can break it off with a hammer, pop it off with a pry bar. You will need to repair any damage to the wall.
Yes, be prepared for not only the tile to come off, but for chunks of the drywall as well. It will make a mess and you will need to complete any necessary repairs and necessary repainting to the wall before any new decorating is done.
Yes - definitely expect there to be some wall damage. But as long as you're not renting, it should be relatively easily fixed!
