I would like to know how you dye your pine needles in acrylic paints

    I would think if you are using acrylic paint, you would be painting them, not dying them . (?).... if so, maybe just dip them, (you could dilute acrylic paint with water) shake off excess paint, and then hang them to dry. What are you doing with them? Are they long pine needles, or short?

    I have dipped pine cones in thinned acrylic paint, especially half baby oil and half acrylic paint, to make a marbled effect. I've read many posts today that suggest acrylic fingernail polish dropped on top of a container of water or other paint, then dropping in a vase which is then rolled and removed for a marbled effect. Same idea--just new variations! Best wishes. 😇
