When I have a client whose dog has accidents/untrained I keep those sham wow super absorbent cloths to blot/wipe up, keep blotting until no more liquid come up. If its #2, pickup with tissue, and then spray some Foam Carpet Cleaner and use a soft carpet brush until clean.
Then there is the dogs, why are they going in the house? Have they seen the vet lately to rule out physical problems? or they not house-broken? Get a crate for each dog, just big enough for them, when you are not home or busy put them in their crates. This way if they go, they get wet, and it only takes a couple times for them to figure out to bark for your attention. Let them outside immediately. When you are in the room, leave the crate door open so they can go in and out, its a safe place, their bed, their chew toy. Very easy to house break a dog.... no yelling, they screw up its literally on them.
My go too spot cleaner is Zout sold at Walmart. I have not found a stain it would not remove.
I don't believe in crates for dogs, just a gently, well trained dog. But, if you can catch the urine while it is wet, I blot it until it is as dry as possible, then get the good ol' white vinegar, pour it on the spot, blot it until dry then use a carpet spot cleaner. No spot will be left. If the spot is already dry, I have found that the vinegar poured on it and left for a few minutes, blotted up and then used a carpet cleaner on it usually works. I am 74, have had 5 Poms, 2 Poodles, and 1 Mini-Pin, all of whom lived between 12 and 15 years old. ( two times, I had 2 dogs at a time. My first pom I had when I was 8.) My carpets were clean and not a crate in any of my houses. Anyway, try the vinegar and enjoy your dog or dogs 🐕😊
Nature' Miracle. Expensive, but it has enzymes in it to remove all odor so the dog won't pee there again.
Nature's Miracle is indeed a miracle cleaner :)
Blot up as much as you can. Cover it thickly with baking soda. It will wick up the urine. Brush the dampened baking soda into a dust pan and discard. Repeat these three steps till it stops wicking. Vaccum and clean with 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water if there is a stain.
It's best not to have carpet with pets - pull it up and no wall-to-wall carpet.
