Vinegar water in a spray bottle. Saturate the wall. Allow it to sit for a while and then scrape away with a putty knife. This really is the easiest way. Trust me, I have removed a ton of wallpaper in my Lise!!

Start with a paint tray filled with hot water, you need a long handle to attach to the roller. Roll the brush in the tray just like you would paint. Next, roll up and down, to wet the wall, now scrape the paper from the bottom up. If it's not coming off easily, roll it again, and put a little pressure on the brush. Repeat this again on the next section. The bare wall needs to be washed, so all the paste comes off. Use a separate bucket and a large sponge, then dry with a clean rag. Make sure you have drop cloths along the sides of the walls. Good Luck!

I'd recommend you rent a docker and use it to lightly dock holes in the paper through which to easily steam the paper off. You can also rent a wallpaper steamer for easier (and neater) removal of the paper. (These items are especially helpful if your walls have more than 1 layer of paper and/or paint on them).

If you want to forego the steamer, I still suggest you get a docker through which to gently poke holes all throughout the paper. At this time mix up a sprayer full of fabric softener mixed with 2 cups water to 1/4 cup fabric softener, and spray over the wallpaper; work in sections so the paper doesn't dry out, allow to sit 10-15 minutes before removing the paper. Use a plastic putty knife or a plastic spatula to scrape off the paper.

Once each section has been removed, wipe the walls down to remove the sticky residue of the walls with a mix of vinegar mixed with water (use 2 cups warm water with 1/2 cup vinegar), allow to dry for at least a day before doing other projects to the walls.
