hang them upside down using a rubber band on on the stem. once dry gently spray with hair spray.
Hang upside down and let air dry. I have also just placed in a dry vase and let dry upright. Will work witha sturdy stemmed flower like roses. Here are a couple links.

Depending on the flower , sometimes you can just hang them upside down. I have dried hydranga russian sage , and roses this way. I have heard but have never tried to dry them in the microwave. Good luck
put them in a container with silicagel. Cover them completely
leave a long stem when you cut them, tie the stems with twine and hang upside down in a dry spot (rafters in the basement, window etc)
