1 part baking soda to 2 parts boiling water. If it's still slow, 1 cup vinegar to 1 part baking soda. Put the baking soda in first then the vinegar. If there's still a problem, try a plunger. For DIY, last resort, disconnecting the pea trap to see if there's anything non-organic plugging it up. If not, it's plumber-time.
Get one of those little plastic snakes at the hardware store, and clean out all the hair and gunk. Then if that doesn't do it, put drain cleaner down the sink, I use Roebics natural enyzme Drain Cleaner, put it in warm water, and down the sink before bed, then run hot water in the morning.
Get one of those plastic drain cleaners with barbs on them. They are really cheap, but work wonders for pulling the hair out of tubs and sinks. Once you are done with that, do the baking soda and vinegar. Let it sit for a few to bubble away, then pour boiling water down the sink to rinse and further clean. This should take care of it if it was just hair and soap residue matted in the pipe. The vinegar will also disinfect the pipes. I hope this works for you!
