Leather coach

That's the sad part of having cats, their nails. Cover up the corners of furniture with plastic-vinyl, they don't like that. Whatever you do, please don't declaw, that is amputation, and will deform the paws!! Buy enough scratch-post, it does help, I have them everywhere in my house. If the leather is too damaged, yes you can fix it by replacing the part, if you get the same color of leather. Another advice, place, like a side table beside of your coach, or a magazine rack, so the cat can not get to it. Good luck for you and Kitty!!

If you can send a pic that would help. Scratches that do not pull out the filling are easier to fix than deep gouges with destroyed leather. Can you send a pic?

Provide a scratching post for the cat, rub catnip into in. There are also corrugated cardboard scratch boxes that my cat loves. When the cat scratches on the post or other approved places, give it positive reinforcement, "Good Kitty" in a loving voice. When the cat scratches elsewhere a sharp "No" should scare him enough to stop the activity. You may need to sequester the cat (and cat box, food and water) while you are away until the bad behavior has been curbed. You can also temporarily cover the corner of the couch that the cat scratches with a towel or blanket.

There are leather repair kits. But the real problem is that the cat's will continue. I have found that if I cover my furniture corners with PressNSeal, they will not claw there. But then you have to remember to remove it before guests come....

I have the same problem. I heard that citrus smell will keep cats away, so I am thinking of rubbing citrus oil into the leather to keep the cats away. That shouldn't hurt the leather. Also they make a leather repair kit, I am going to check into it and see if it will work on just those tiny little scratches.
