Start with washing the wood with Murphy's oil soap, and wipe it down good, let dry completely. Next take the hardware, and doors off. Paint the doors on a flat surface, to avoid streaks. Use a high-gloss paint, so you can wash it with a rag and soap. You can use grey paint, but use high-gloss. Spray the hardware or buy new, but it's pricy. Depending on the color of your appliances, will the grey blend in with them? I would use a light grey (heather grey). EJL
