Have you tried pressure washing, then scrubbing loose with a stiff brush, then pressure washing again?
Call the company that painted your house to come back! They did the damage, they are responsible! Did you have an inspection when they completed the job? I would have withheld payment until you are 100% satisfied.
Agree with Naomie, have them come back and remove the paint from your bricks.
I would advise you call the company as well. In the meantime, perhaps you could try a very stiff wire brush to see if that removes any of it. I also would not really recommend this company to anyone, and demand at least a partial refund.
I, too, would recommend using a power washer. It should remove the paint with no problem. Good luck.
I agree that the painter is responsible. Here is a link for videos about how to remove it. Don't let the sandblast. https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?fr=yhs-vz-vz&hsimp=yhs-vz&hspart=vz&p=remove+paint+from+brick#id=2&vid=18b1a2c83c4f0d2f1d6bb3ef59c96261&action=clic
I agree with each of my fellow HomeTalk colleagues, on top of reporting the company to the BBB so no one else has to deal with their shoddy workmanship! While you are waiting for them to return to make repairs, take a look at your windows, plantings, etc., to be sure they have not been marred or damaged by the overspray!
I will try a stiff wire brush. They came out and power washed, but it did not get it all. Thanks.
