i made a bowling set for kids i spray painted them white and made funny faces with sharpie marker. I have also used the for power detergent for easy pouring.
Fill with a little bit of sand. Glue tops down on bottle. Paint with outdoor patio paint the lids white. But tape a horizontal strip off and leave it red. Use as yard bowling for grandchildren. Or if you have a church function it makes a great game to keep children busy. Buy small ball.
I had a plastic coffee container similar to these that I painted as a Santa. You could do several cartoon characters I'm thinking.
repurpose as a canister for camping road trips etc.
i took the labels off and washed them and use them for storage...for beads and brushes and pencils etc.
I have seen them made into Snowmen and Santas...just google for info!
Donate them to a day care center or art department of your local school. Teachers are always looking for free materials they can use for classroom crafts. They will be put to much better use than you probably would find - and you can feel very good about your donation.
