Could you possibly rephrase your question so it is easier to understanding?
Are you talking about imprints on the glass itself like a pot ring, or are you talking about marks actually on the heating coils under the glass? If it is actually on the glass use Cerama cooking top cleaner. Use the yellow scrub pad that comes with the cooktop cleaner. It will take elbow grease if the rings have been on there for awhile, but the best cleaner I know for cooktops is the Cerama brand. (Weisman is good too.)
