Are you saying you want to remove the dining room carpet and what is your question?
Your question got chopped off, can you restate?
Hello Claudiapettey3 :) If I understand this partial message correctly, you want to remove the dining room section of the hunter green carpet, but you don't know how to do it, nor how to secure the raw edges of the carpet that is not being removed. So HERE is what I would do, first, READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE POSTED BELOW --- IT'S A GOOD ONE. Remember IF you are sensitive to dust, get a mask to wear because there is A LOT of old dust deep in carpeting that will fly into the air once you begin cutting the carpet into strips and rolling and taping them up. ALSO wear a pair of gloves to protect your hands. ALSO, I would take a long straight piece of metal, as well as a piece of chalk close to the color of the carpeting, and mark a straight line where you want the cut to be made. Now on to the article to do it the way professionals would (and good luck to you, Claudia. Thanks for coming to HOMETALK for answers and help) :)
