The new mailbox we just installed is not same shape as prior one. As a result we have 4 small screw size holes in our while vinyl siding. What can I use to fill the holes so they will be less obvious?

I would try some weather proofed caulk. You can buy sample size paint at Home Depot to match color of the siding.
caulking that's the color of the siding works well
Is there another piece of vinyl on a less conspicuous area of your house that you can swap out with this one? Replace one whole strip with another? That way it is like starting fresh without having to buy anything.
Car ”Bondo” works well & just let dry well & dab paint to match your siding.
