- Nancy Turneron Oct 8, 2017In the freezer, if it has been repackaged with no air in it, about a year. If it as it was purchased in the package with the clear cellophane, watch it for freezer burn and ice buildup, about six months maybe. Thawed or straight from the store, no more than three or four days or the date they have on the package. If you buy in bulk, get one of the systems that you take the air out of the package using the bags you can buy. Without the air, they don't freezer burn and last for a year or more in the freezer without drying out either. If you buy hamburger in the rolls, as long as they don't leak fluid out of the ends, they last in the freezer too.HelpfulReply

- Mitchmomon Oct 8, 2017when in doubt throw it out. But grocery stores can only keep raw or cooked foods, unfrozen for 3 days. That means you too have only 3 days. Raw Frozen not thawed out and refrozen Can be kept sometimes up to 6 months. (If it has no freezer burn.). Raw then cooked and frozen is the same. NEVER thaw then refreeze ANY MEAT without cooking!!! Hope it helpsHelpfulReply
