Turn off the water supply
Drain the tank
Remove water line. (Put end in container to catch any drips)
Remove The tank bolts
Pull tank and lay on its side
Pull the 2 bolt washers off of bolts and big gasket off tube.
clean bolt holes and large tube areas
Install new washers and gasket
Put back together being careful to not over tighten the bolts. The toilet and tank are made of porcelain and will crack.
Reattach water line.
turn on water and inspect for leaks
