I made a Christmas village on some shelving and used those really heavy tubes as columns for support in the shelves. I wrapped them in white glitter felt and they look great. You can probably use them as table legs. Mine were much thicker than a regular tube that I had to use a saw to cut them. If you cut them into pieces of various heights, I am sure you can make them into desk or craft organizers.
You could stand them on end and glue together with a thin top to make an end table,or lay on side and help a grand child or child staying in out of the rain to build a "log" cabin playhouse. They could be used for children's home made furniture like lounge chairs for a sitting area in their play area. There are all kinds of contact paper that could be applied to them to really color and decorate them nicely for the children.
Paint them white and add red ribbon to make candy canes for your yard.
