I use a product called Once and Done that I buy at Lowes or Home Depot. They have it for tile and stone floors and it is good for laminate flooring too. We have a wood laminate floor in one room and I vacuum it then use this product and it looks great - easy to use and no rinsing. Just follow directions on the bottle
For the most part, laminate floors are cleaned just like laminate countertops. Use a dust mop and/or bare floor vacuum to remove dust and debris then mop with a damp microfiber mop and a mild ammonia solution. Remember that scratches and wet are the floor's worst enemies. Never mop with a wet mop that leaves puddles or even that leaves it wet for more than a couple of minutes. I like to use a spray bottle of Windex and just spray a small section of floor at a time as I go with my mop. For stickier, more stubborn spots, just use a rag and soapy water. You can find microfiber mops at Target, Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. We have the whole main floor of our house in laminate and it still looks great after 10 + years.
I swiffer the floors to get up dirt and dust than use a couple different methods.
i have had good luck with Zep Hardwood & Laminate floor cleaner Leaves no residue. A good old fashion damp rag for spot cleaning. But my latest is using my Sharp Pocket Mop. On the lighest setting. It has a cloth wrap around (like a stiffer) and is so easy with a very light steam. Does not harm floors and is left dry. Good luck!
Hi Anita I just use a swiffer mop , one that sprays out the cleaning solution. Just don't soak it alot. I just got the same flooring in my kitchen and thats what I do. It works fine for me.:-)
I also use the Swiffer solution :)
