You can get the shine back with a good laminate floor polish, I wouldn't recommend applying wax to laminate.
There are products made especially for laminate floors. They are not wood, so waxing them is not a good idea.
I would not use floor wax on Laminate flooring. Try a Product called Rejuavante for Laminate Floors
I use plain 'ole Mop 'n Glow from the grocery store.
Great! where do I buy this product,? My floors were never real shiney, but I would love to add a little shine to them. I have them all though my very small home, kitchen, living room nd two small bedrooms. I really think they would look so much better with a little shine to them. Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

Thank You so much. where do I buy a product to add a LITTLE shine to these floors? I'm a young 70 and been keeping house for many, many years Keeping a clean house is using a lot of common sense. I wouldn't use paste wax on anything to protect wood that people walked on, that would make the floors too easy to fall on, did that when my children were young. I'm looking for a Poly. sealer, or a water sol. wax, that may work........ Les put our thinking caps on, if any one thinks of something, let Granny, me, know.......
Where do I get this, and what name is it? Thank you so much.......
I really like a product called Quick Shine by, I think, Hampton House. It's so easy to use and gives a beautiful shine. I think I bought it at Home Depot but you could check on line for other sources.
Home Depot sells the product in the cleaning aisle
