tried everything bought readymade myself but, didnt work too well so I attached ribbon in each corner of cover and each corner of quilt, turned cover inside out and put duvet in, tied both ribbon from duvet and from cover together in bow, ( to release easy to wash cover) in each corner and turned cover back right side showing

You need corner ties for the 4 corners of the duvet cover and quilt, maybe more if the bed is larger. Just tie them together.
