There is a specialty paint, I think you can find it at Michael's. you paint on glazed ceramic tile and then bake the paint in the oven.

Hi, I did this with regular water base paint and it worked perfect! I had no issues at all for durability. I washed and washed it and it never changed. if you want a shine, clear coat it. I fully recommend this technique.
