If it has not done heavy damage, you can fix the blotch with very fine sandpaper.
Try goof off
The nail polish remover has damaged the finish. You'll need to abrade with a light sand paper and apply new finish to your table. Wipe-On polyurethane dries really quickly. A few coats of that should work well.
