Why are the tips of my peace lily plants turning brown?
What would cause my Pease Lily plant leaves to be turning brown at the Tips
Probably needs a bigger pot. They need more water than a lot of plants. When my peace lilly starts wilting I know it's time to water all the plants.
Probably from over watering.
Yep Dianna is right. The wilting leaves mean time to H20. This large leaf variety does need a larger pot, the smaller leaf variety can go smaller. The yellowing leaves need to be snipped. You can also snip the yellowing flower pods that the peace lilly makes. Hope this helps.
Mine looks like that and I know it needs to be watered and repotted to a bigger pot....You can cut the dead leaf off at ground level.
It needs to be re-potted in the next size pot with drainage holes.Remove the dead flower as well.Keep moist not saturated
Mine started to look like that, I put it in a bigger pot about double the size you have yours in and it has flourished. A little plant food helps also.
needs water and use scissors to cut as close to it's base as you can. Mine does that every once in a while!
Mine too. I need to re pot but until then I put it in a big bowl an give it a good soak
I have one that I can't figure what I'm doing wrong. The piece in center doing good. Leaves standing but the plants around the leaves sag. Is in a big pot so I know it doesn't need to be repoted. I let to layer of soil dry before watering but can't get the others to perk up the leaves. Should I move them closer together?
Sorry this is suppose to answer question but thought someone could help me as well
My plant went from a table top plant to a very big jungle. It does use a lot of water. I replanted it into a very large container. wilted leaves on mine ment it was needing water. It just keeps growing and growing. Still needs plenty of water about every third day
You can keep it in the same size pot if you will take plant out of the pot and break the root ball into 2 or 3 and replant in other pots. I usually break mine up about every 3 years. I give the other plants as gifts.
It needs water and light. Then if it's not too far gone, it should perk up.
