I like lights so I put lights out for Christmas. Some colored and some white. Also a wreath for the front door and maybe some garden flags. I’m not into those blow up decorations so I don’t use those. But I do have some Christmas light ups that are cute and festive. Make your entry way festive and welcoming just by adding a Santa or snowman to you porch area. If you have planters that are now empty for the season, add artificial pointsettias and some Christmas balls to make pretty planters for the holidays.
keep it simple and elegant, have a cohesive theme.
If you have trees in your yard I would put lights on them. If you don't have trees you could get an artificial Christmas tree and put some lights on it, and decorate it with inexpensive plastic ornaments.
I love simple. Do your mailbox and porch and possibly add a lighted deer or two
I love the way simple wood cutouts look with a light on them. You can make or buy, very simple and you don't need to string up a bunch of lights.https://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/christmas/how-to-diy-christmas-yard-cutouts-33733548
