check out shower curtains in a discount store. Solid colors with grommets are available...would look good with white curtain....No picture...but if you sew,buy a second curtain like the first and recover your pillows.
you forgot your picture!
Do you want the whole window covered? Or just the lower part?
Why not repeat that red color in the bed spreads?
You will be a little limited on the sides with as close to the corner as it is, but you should be able to put up any rod you want above the window. Sarahsota's idea really makes good sense in using a shower curtain and getting an extra to use for your throw pillows and maybe the bed pillows.
I know how difficult picking a color can be. It took me several months to decide what color to paint my kitchen cabinets. Can't afford new ones so that was the next best thing. Good luck!
Judging from previous suggestions, I assume that you are keeping the red striped bed covers. If you are trying to get away from the nautical theme, they are the first things that need to go. I would install the curtain rod about 6 inches from ceiling. Place the rod as close to the right side (corner) as possible, keeping in mind the decorative ends of the rod you have chosen. Keep it simple. 96" or 83" curtains will cover that window nicely and give the room some heighth.
The shape of the window is fabulous. I wouldn't cover it :)
