There are a number of products out there that can be used for waterproofing basement walls and floors.... BUT FIRST... you need to determine exactly what is causing the moisture on the walls...
*Are there minute cracks in your foundation that are letting water in and need to be epoxied or repaired?
* Is you furnace not removing enough moisture from the air.. do you need to run a de-humidifier in your basement area?
*Do you need to address water accumulating on the outside of your foundation... do you need grading or new weeping tile or exterior waterproofing?
The video shows the outside being sealed with the liquid. In the old days tar was used. Modern tech has brought many different products and techniques. Definitely any liquid rubberized product would prevent water infiltration from the outside. I would not recommend this for use on the inside. If the outside is not protected water still would force its way inside and delaminate any solid sealer. There are basement waterproofing paints that migrate into the concrete. Drylock is one made for inside walls.
Yes, EPDM Liquid is good. You can use it.
