I have an open floor plan. Very small house, looking for cheap ideas.

Cute house! Love the wallpaper. Mine is even smaller - no dining room (which I desperately miss), here are my ideas. Since you are going for a rustic look, I would repaint, take your time choosing colors. Use the brick wallpaper as your guide, draw the colors from that. In the 3rd and 4th pictures, I would add decorative corbels in opening between the living and dining room. I would also add a simple crown molding. Depending on what you choose for paint, make sure it will compliment your flooring. Take samples of everything with you when you shop.
I would trim the door way between front room & dinning room so rooms can be different colors if choose. Love your wallpaper. What I need in my kitchen. I would paint kitchen then see if cabinets need to be painted. Good luck & merry christmas
I think your biggest decision is - do you change the wooden fixtures to match your stone wall o- should you paint them when you repaint the walls. new laminate flooring diy will get rid of any problem with floor colour. Cheap as chips ! Great way to start - love it.
Like wallpaper, would stain staircase using dark color from wallpaper for rustic look. Agree, use wallpaper as guide for wall colors. Would go w light walls, can use accents for rustic look. Hope that helps! Good luck!
