Install a new pretty jetted tub. Seriously, you hurt the value of your home if you get rid of it.
remove, dig suitable size hole in your yard, use a 100% silicon cailk to close the jets and make a garden pond...you tube has several ideas
build a closet. Or add a vanity. Or expand the walk in shower.
Cover it up with some boards, paint it, and it can be transformed into a sitting area or storage unit!
Let me tell ya - I sure wish I had my jetted tub back. The older I get these sore muscles and bones really miss the soaking.
I agree with Ken! You can't get, rid off it! You will be sorry, if you do! Goe to a tub specialist, and get advice first, on how two make it look good again. The idear of the wood top over it, to make a seat, or storage room, is a great idear, as you can change, your mind latter on, and be greatfull, you didn't get rid of it! This is just my opinion lol. How about removing the tub and making a large walk-in shower? You will have enough room to add benches and niches for your shower items.
