You might need a new blade.
Time for a new blade
Try a new blade. Make sure the one you are using is for the material you are cutting. The correct blade is everything. Lubricate the saw. You can find diy videos on YouTube
Check the depth of the blade (make sure that the blade is only showing under the board about a quarter inch) if too much blade is in contact with the project it causes more friction.
