What was the original colour of the grout? Not all grout is white, so no matter what type of cleaner you use, it can be cleaned back to only the original starting colour.
What have you tried so far? If you have not had any success, it could be that the layer of sealant has worn off and the porous underlayer is now exposed. After cleaning, It may need to be resealed in order to prevent further discolouration from dirt.
I think bar keepers friend might have a solution. I suggest staying away from a steamer. Pulled up my grout : (
Things to avoid would be chlorine bleach and the products that might contain it or products that are acidic, or have citrus, vinegar or other acids in it. They could etch/burn or eat away at the marble and remove its surface. Marble counters in kitchen are also vulnerable to food acids like lemon, tomato, etc.
