Mix a combo of vinegar and water, spraying wall with heavy spray of solution. Put towels or rags at botto.to soak up run off. Paper should begin to lift and you'll be able to peel may need to lightly scrape residue, careful not to damage wall..
This is THE BEST--------Mix warm water with liquid fabric softener and wipe on the paper. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and the paper should peel right off.
I like to use it for an 'industrial edge' on sunflower etc bouquets.

If it's vinyl wall paper, peel the top layer off leaving the 'paper' backing on the wall. That can be easily removed with warm water mixed with fabric softener and a scraper. Apply the mixture with an old rag, leave on to soak in, then scrape off. Repeat if necessary. If the paper is all paper, lightly score the walls with the round rotating scoring tool, soak the walls with the same mixture, let soak, scrape off. Repeat until all the paper has been removed. Wash the with clean hot water to remove any remaining paste. Best of luck.
