Painting Kitchen Cupboards- what's the paint that needs no sanding?

We are getting ready to paint the kitchen cupboards, I have seen so many beautiful makeovers and I can't remember the name of the paint from home depot where no sanding is required, if i'm not mistaken I think its Valspar, we are looking for the best results possible. thank you for the help...lydia

Hi Lydia. I dont know about paint from Home Depot and I usually purchase my Valspar paints frpm Lowes. I can tell you I repainted my kitchen cabinets in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. No prep @ all except removing the doors and hardware! I covered really old dark wood with a coat of Cream and then Paris Grey. Simple coat of clear wax and voila! Completely transformed - See for yourself!
Valspar is a product only for Lowes
Are you referring to chalk paint? It needs no sanding or priming. There's a bunch of great companies that make it- good luck!
