What to put in this huge mason jar?
I have a HUGE mason jar. I would like some ideas on what to put in it for decorations, other than flowers.
I would definitely worry about a fire hazard. Maybe if you applied it on the outside over the glass it could work
I do not think that is a good idea, for sure a fire hazard
you can buy different colored fluorescent light fittings at the local electrical dealers eric
I have never tried this but having installed 2 of my own fluorescent kitchen light systems and I think you are fine especially since the cellophane is not directly on the bulb, and there is sufficient space between the electrical components and the cellophane. This would be compared to placing a light diffusing panel intended for the fluorescent light
you are fine if you are just covering a solid panel with a color, if it is a grate like panel, I would leave an inch at both ends for some air flow just to be safe.
not sure on that one
How did this this work out for you Kate Wilson? I had the same idea for my basement fluorescents lol?
As long as you don't hve the light on long enouth to melt the cellophane it should be ok, but better to maybe use glass paint and colour the tube or the inside of the cover!
